Wimbledon Common garden project

Wimbledon Common

Originally engaged in 2011 by the client to improve the existing layout of this one acre garden in the heart of Wimbledon Village, we recently returned to update the original planting scheme. A warm planting palette was requested with particular flowering peaks when the client tended to be in residence in early summer and autumn. This included additional structural planting, topiary forms, a rose garden and a revitalised cool and hot planting bed with a strong base of successional planting for year-long interest. Following the original installation this garden was selected to open for the National Garden Scheme and appeared as a featured article in the magazine House Beautiful.
