About
Henrietta trained extensively in garden design and horticulture prior to her experience working with leading UK garden designers Andy Sturgeon and Luciano Giubbilei, where she amassed a significant wealth of design experience over many years. During this extensive period, she designed, detailed, and project managed a diverse array of both residential and commercial landscape projects of varying scales and contrasting design styles across the UK, Europe, and the USA. Notably, this included designing and overseeing the installation of the new prestigious courtyard terrace at the Rosewood Hotel in London in 2014, as well as contributing to a large country garden project located in Houston, Texas.
Henrietta's extensive experience also encompasses her involvement with numerous gold medal-winning show gardens, and she was an integral part of the talented design team for Luciano Giubbilei's award-winning garden at the 2014 RHS Chelsea Flower Show, which achieved the highly sought-after accolade of 'Best in Show.'
Since 2015, she has been actively working in collaboration with various Architects and Interior Designers on exciting commissions in both the UK and abroad, creating beautiful exterior spaces that perfectly reflect her design ethos which harmoniously combines elements of naturalism and modernity. She takes a balanced and thoughtful approach to all of her garden projects, carefully listening to the specific requirements of each client, the architectural features of the building, and the unique characteristics of the setting to discover creative design and planting solutions even for the most neglected of spaces.
Henrietta is a Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers and is an Associate with the Chartered Institute of Horticulture. She is committed to her continued professional development and regularly participates in study days, as well as visiting various nurseries and gardens to further expand her knowledge. When she is not tending to her own garden alongside her young family, Henrietta can often be found enjoying a refreshing swim in the sea.
